About Doggy Decadents

Chelsey With Basket of GoodiesDoggy Decadents was formed in the summer of 2007 by Chelsey Homan. While working at a local pet store in Eagle River, Alaska, Chelsey began baking treats for her newly acquired rescue, Skipper, a schipperke/husky mix. Having always wanted to run her own business, Chelsey decided to begin selling her Alaska made doggie creations to local stores and at weekend markets.  Thinking this would be a great summer project to apply toward her college classes, Chelsey never thought the business would take off the way it has. Thanks to a very loyal customer following, Doggy Decadents continues to grow and expand its retail and wholesale production of enticing gourmet dog treats.
Baking the best dog treats is all we do and is the core focus of our business. By using all natural human grade ingredients and baking small batches by hand, Doggy Decadents treats have maintained a high level of quality you can’t get from commercially processed dog treats. There is a great deal of care that goes into Doggy Decadents gourmet dog treats, from using the best ingredients, to baking fresh daily and adding a decorative touch to the final product, making these treats so tempting that the dogs aren’t the only ones drooling!
All of Doggy Decadents treats are taste tested and given the paw of approval by our very own dog treat critic, Skipper. Skipper is an active socialite and you will often see him waving to the crowd at venues attended by Doggy Decadents. Since Doggy Decadents began, we’ve also added a new addition to the family, Carob, a sweet little chocolate lab girl. Carob is not one to pass up a treat or a meal, but her beautiful coat and trim body show that she only gets the best!

Doggy Decadents is a labor of love and strives to provide our customers with quality products that bring special moments of enjoyment and companionship. Our dogs mean the world to us and it’s always gratifying to share our love with a special treat just for them!
